need help plz---not pregnancy/for thanksgiving!!

Okay so usually my mother does thanksgiving but due to family issues my mother no longer comes around or has anything to do with me my husband brothers and our kids so I want to do my own thanksgiving for my family. But this will be my first time ever doing it. I need help on how to do the turkey.... and ham... cooking and all like I said never once made either of them. So please help...
