Ruptured Blood Vessel on Cervix

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and woke up early to go to the bathroom and noticed I was bleeding. My doctor advised me to head to labor and delivery to get checked out. After being seen I was told it was most likely a ruptured blood vessel on the outside of my cervix caused by pressure (resulting from the baby getting bigger). Has anyone else experienced this? Did you experience any long term effects or other complications? I'm on bed rest for now and have to go to see my doctor in the office on Monday. I've had 4 losses, so I'm pretty nervous!
