how to toast a sub a home?

So we went to jimmy johns for the first time, i got a sub thinking it was like subway.. well its not! Theres no choice in bread, which sucks. But anyways, they dont toast their subs. I got a tuna tub and its not toasted so i dont want to eat it.

How would i toast it at home? The microwave will make the bread soggy and im not sure what temp for the oven or how long.

Broil. Put it on the top rack for 30 secs or so and keep checking it. So you dont burn it

They have a wheat bread option. It's not in sub form; it's square but thick and good.

You don't have to toast tuna, tuna is safe to eat unheated, you also don't have to toast the bread if you don't want to just the meat, but honestly it's super rare to get listeria from a reputable place where the meats don't sit long.  If you do want to toast in the oven preheat the oven to 400 and leave for about 5-7 minutes check on it every couple mins
