Nervous
My husband and I lost our little girl--our first child--last Friday at 28 weeks. She had an extremely rare condition. At 18 weeks at our first ultrasound we found out she had Bladder Outlet Obstruction. Her bladder filled with fluid but she was unable to urinate. We went through torture from August to last week. She had three fetal bladder stents inserted & was having her bladder drained once a week. We had her cremated and received her remains yesterday.
My husband, like most men, is ready to have sex once I stop bleeding. I told him that was fine, but I want to be on birth control because I'm not ready to get pregnant right away. He doesn't want me to take birth control--he wants to try again and thinks we should let things happen naturally. My OB and specialist have said there's no reason why I shouldn't have a normal pregnancy. It just scares me to death, because there was only a 1 in 5,000 chance of my daughter having that condition last time.
I know you are supposedly really fertile after a pregnancy...how many mamas have ended up pregnant right after birth? I'm just curious.
