excessive fluid around the fraternal twins at 29 weeks pregnant

Please help me , I had a growth scan 3 days ago and they have seen that the fluids around the babies are in excess so they admitted me and told me that I was at risk of preterm labour, 3 days in the hospital the babies are growing well and they gave me something to stop contractions but they stii think I might deliver early.... has anyone experienced something similar? Could you please tell me what can happen with these excessive fluids? I'm a very anxious person and I would really appreciate any kind of help
