welcome baby Amelia !

Here's my labor story. Went to go see my doctor on Wednesday, woke up to horrible and uncomfortable Braxton hicks. They lasted 30 seconds but 25 minutes apart. Only lasted half the day, then Thursday, same thing repeated. Noticed some clear mucus plug wit a slight of white in it. Figured it was my mucus plug. Friday, couldn't sleep from 4:45am and was up every 30 minutes to an hour ! I was feeling cranky. My cousin and twin had made plans with me to go get some walking down later at 12:30pm. Got up, went to make food and fed my one year old. In laws went out to run errands and my husband was still sleeping. Finally got my son to take his nap at 11am. Decided that since I was about to go out and walk/run errands, I did my makeup at 11:45am. Finished doing my brows, then went to the restroom to pee. Once I got out of the bathroom, decided to relax on the sofa. 5 minutes after using the bathroom, I feel leakage. For sure knew I didn't pee myself and decided to stand up. Stood up and water started leaking down! Pushes open my door and told me husband "get up, my water broke." My one year old had also gotten up and smiled. Called my in laws to see if they were coming back. They said yes and I told my mother in law  "well, my water broke." She was excited and tried to rush dad. Hahaha, got admitted into the hospital at 12:45pm. Got into a room by 12:55pm. They said it was definitely my water that broke ! I never got checked for my cervix at all at my appointments. Got checked at 1:30pm, dilated to 6-7cm and 90% effaced ! I didn't even look like I was in pain ! Hahaha. My contractions were consistent but slowed down within 4 hours. Decided that I'll go walk since I was still the same dilated. Baby girl had different plans once I decided to leave the room. Barely made it out and contractions hit so hard ! I went from a 6cm to 10 cm in two minutes ! Literally kept screaming and wish I had gotten the epidural.. but pushed in 7 minutes and she was born ! Amelia Gaosue Vang born October 28 2016 ❤️. She's a premie since she decided to come 4 weeks and 1 day early. Had her at 35 weeks 6 days. Blessed & she was originally due November 26. Yes, I did get a second degree tear since she came so fast.
