Dull ache near heart

Does anyone ever get a dull ache that comes in waves near their heart? It will last a few seconds then go away for a few seconds. Doesn't happen often but I'm kind of worried. I have had it for a long time. I recently went to the doctor because I was having heart palpalations due to anxiety so may anxiety plays a part in this?
