anyone's baby gotten sick yet?

Question

Chase had his first stomach bug Thursday which knocked he entire household down like dominoes. Now! Saturday (yesterday) he has gotten a runny nose and dry cough. I feel like I can't win. Gave him pedialyte Thursday and Friday with formula bottles occasionally Friday, ate fairly normal and Saturday his bottle consumption was an ounce or two less than usual... anyone have any advice? I feel like I can't win this weekend! He literally just started day care Monday too... 😡

My Baby got Pertussis! It's been the longest 2 months of my life. Sick babies are horrible! Get a Nose Freida it will save your life! Cold air humidifier with pediatric Vicks pads helps soooo much! They make a pediatric Vicks chest rub that is very soothing! Watch for fever and keep babies nasal passage clear with the bulb syringe or Nose Freida! Rhinovirus although just a common cold is the leading cause of hospitalization in infants. Hope Baby gets well soon!

Exact same thing happened to us!! Started daycare and by the weekend he had the flu. Literally vomited 4-5 times a day for two days and diarrhea lasted over a week. There isn't really anything you can do but let it pass; thankfully my guy didn't feel too bad with it, just sleepy. My doctor recommended adding probiotic sprinkles to his formula to help get good bacteria in his body again. I will say bcuz my baby was only 8 weeks old when it happened it ate away the lining of his intestine and made him intolerant to lactose. He just kept vomiting and took us a good 3 weeks to figure it all out. So he's on soy formula and then Zantac bcuz of his reflux and I kid you not he's a brand new baby!! Throws up occasionally but nothing like he was. Hopefully your LO returns back to normal and feels better very soon!!

Yes OMG, my poor baby. 1st week of daycare a cold and he gave it to me. 2nd week of daycare gastroenteritis (stomach virus) he also gave to me. 3rd week of daycare was fine. 4th week of daycare he got RSV, that put him in the PICU for 4 days!!!! He starts his 5th week of daycare tomorrow, I'm really praying my little boy can stay healthy.
