At what age did your child start sleeping in their own room??

My husband and I were debating what age a child should sleep in their own room.. please vote 😃

Both my daughters didn't sleep through the night until around 6-7 months...once they did I transitioned them to their own room.

Our 8 month old is still in our room. I probably won't move him to close to one, he still gets up once or so a night so there's no point having to walk too far right now.

The recommendation (for SIDS reduction) is for baby to be in your room for at least 6 months

I don't think my sister was ever in my parents room. I was but I was really tiny. My brother was but only because our house was so small and he would've been across the house from them. I know another couple who never had their son in their room at all. To each their own I think. But I probably wouldn't let them stay in your room too terribly long because then they'll have a hard time transitioning

My now 15 year old slept with me until she was around 3 years, my second daughter slept with me until about 4 months, my third daughter is 6 years old and still sneaks in here some nights and I'm sure this new little girl will be in here at least for a little while ☺️
