30 weeks and no fluid?

Question

I'm 30 weeks and my nipples are still dry as a bone. I have 3 friends who are currently pregnant and they're all a few weeks behind me or more. They all have said they've had some fluid and mucus type stuff already leaking out. Why am I not experience this and is it a sign that I won't produce?

Don't worry, not leaking during pregnancy doesn't mean anything about how much you will produce :)

This is my third baby. Both times with my first two I had zero leakage or anything until after birth.  My milk came in 8-12 hours after I gave birth both times. One was due the day after his due date and my other was born 10 days early.

I'm also 30 weeks with no fluid whatsoever. I actually heard it's more common right before you deliver rather than throughout the pregnancy. Everyone's different :)

It's just the body's response to hormones, some women experience it and some don't. It has no correlation to being able to breastfeed or what your supply will be like.

I'm 28 weeks and haven't had anything discharge from my nipples. I asked several people and many people don't get that during pregnancy, some do. Nothing to worry about.

I didn't have any fluid with my first until after I had him. Same with my friend with her second. This pregnancy I have had fluid, but it's also my second.

You're fine! I didn't have any leakage before delivery with my first and I breast fed him for 13mos! 
Breast feeding is hard but my suggestion is don't give up and don't get discouraged!

Some people are just late and thats fine :) with my son whos 3 i didnt start producing to further into my 30 weeks with this one im 27 weeks and have had it for a few days now just depends :) xx
