when do i call my ex??

im due in 7 weeks and my and ex and i live 2 hours away from eachother. im wondering when i should tell him im in labor (obviously when im in labor) but im a ftm and have no idea how long things will take or if i'd even know if i was in labor or not and i'd feel terrible if he drove all the way here for a false alarm. should i give it an hour or 2 to make sure its the real deal or call him right away? im due christmas eve 🙄 so the roads may be bad and it could potentially be christmas day when i deliver. i really would hate to have him rush here on christmas and then have to wait a full day before baby comes.

I say you go to the hospital make sure your in labor then call him. If you don't want him to be mad about a false alarm witch do tend to happen.

Do you want him there for the birth? 
If not I would wait until baby is born. When you're in labour it may stress you thinking about where is he and why hasn't he arrived etc. 
Whatever you think is best though.

Why dont you just ask him when does he wants to be called!? Keep in mine some times theres false labor visits to the hospital especially if ur a first time mom! ☺️ Good luck!

Would he be mad if you went to the hospital and it was false labor?? I mean it's not like you're doing it on purpose, how are you supposed to know. FTM or not, it happens. I guess wait until you are admitted and call him

Most FTM labor for a while so as soon as you know it's the real deal I would call him so that he can get there.

If you feel you are in labour and it's the real thing I'd call him to say get here now, I mean if it is a false alarm it's bound to happen soon after that.

First of all, babies rarely come on their due date or the next day. If he wants to be there for the birth he won't be mad if it turns out it's not the real thing. I'm sure he'd rather that than miss the birth entirely.

I'd say ask him when he wants to be called. 
I wanna think he knows that with a baby false alarms do happen & if you go into labor it can take 10+ hours or it can take 2 hours there's no telling
