I had unprotected sex yesterday for the first time since starting BC. Today I will start my placebo pills. Getting my withdrawal period means I'm all good and not pregnant right?

Correct. The hormones prevent you from ovulating, then you stop taking the hormones during the placebo pills and so you get this withdrawal bleeding. If you were pregant, the hormones would have continued....therefore you wouldnt be getting any sort of bleeding. Thus, withdrawal bleeding means you arent pregnant because it is telling you that you dont have these pregnancy hormones.
