can you feel baby move during contractions?

I am not sure if I'm having contractions or really bad gas pains:/ but I can still feel baby move so does that mean they are not real contractions??

I felt baby all the way through labour,  that's how I knew when a contraction was about to come, she would move and then the contraction would start x

I THOUGHT it was my baby moving and causing my belly to be tighter from him pushing but was actually contractions. When I got in full blown labor my stomach just stayed hard and I couldn't feel baby anymore due to that.
