How long are you going to wait after baby is born?

How long are you going to wait after your baby is born to take her/him out of the house? I would like to wait a month or 6weeks.  I see parents with there baby's out there only 2days old to a week old. I think it's just crazy because that little the germs everywhere isn't good for them. Yes I know there's always going to be germs but there body's are so much more likely to get them that little. 
I feel safe waiting at least 6weeks.  Plus it will be cold out when my baby girl comes.

Took my guy out at a week and he is as healthy as a horse. A few germs is good for them because that is the way you build a strong immune system.

I think it's healthy to get them out of the house right away. Germs are a good way to build up their ammune system. And fresh air is needed for mamma, too!

I plan on leaving when I have to. 
So if we run out if laundry detergent or shampoo at 3 weeks, I'll take her out at 3 weeks. It's just the store, not some super crowded mall or fair or something. Mild Germ exposure is how their immune system gets stronger

Mine will be out and about as soon as possible. Life is life and I can't sit home for a month. My first went on her first cross country plane trip at 4 weeks. We have stuff to do and people to see.

I'll be having to take mine out to run errands, so there will be no specific time, just as soon as we are both healthy enough.

Life doesn't get put on hold for everyone who has a baby, and there's no way I could stay cooped up inside my house for a month or more, my sanity would be gone!

I would say 1-2wks when I feel good enough to get out of the house I fully plan to at least run to the store!

With #1, we had minimal outings for 4 weeks but we had tons of guests. This time I'll probably have to go out earlier because I have to take care of my son too.

Getting her used to the outside environment is important.   I kept my daughter locked up in the house with me or my husband for the majority of 4 months (due to the cold winter weather and snow) so when we did finally take her out she would cry at in any new surroundings.

Following the Chinese 30 days of rest, so at least 30 days before going out of the house (except dr appointments).

Just my preference but I will be taking her out after 6 weeks 😊 church, and probably to visit my job and let some people see her ( because everyone at my job does not practice good hygiene) ☹️️
