Uncertain?

My last period started on the 30th August and finished on the 2nd September and I haven't had a period since. I was due on the 6th October but I'm late I've taken numerous pregnancy tests and they are all negative. I'm a little worried as this is the latest I've ever been but wouldn't a home pregnancy test be able to detect pregnancy by now if I was? As it's been 2 months since my last period and nearly 1 month since I was due on?
