Pyrospermia - High count white blood cells in semen

Megan
Hi everyone! This is my first post with Glow. I am hoping to find someone with the same experience as my own. My husband and I have been trying to conceive upwards of 4 years or so. After many tests of my own my husband had a semen analysis done to find a high count of white blood cells in his semen referred to as Pyrospermia. This the culprit to our apparent inability to conceive. He was given a round of antibiotics to be taken for three weeks and told to re test the sperm in 90 days. It takes 72-90 days for the body to reproduce a "new batch". We are approaching this time and I am getting very anxious. Our doc says that being on the meds alone would increase our chances and that we should continue to try during this time. Well, my period is due today and nothing yet.
I am curious to know has anyone else had this experience with pyrospermia and what was your outcome!?
