Sleep suggestions??

Question

Any suggestions to get my 3 week old to sleep longer then 45minutes?? We've switched from the bassinet to a rock and play and still no difference?

So I had this problem and we started doing this, three days in a row it has worked ( we are night owls so that's why we chose the times we did)

1030-11pWe give her 2.5-3 ounces of pumped milk via bottle, burp and all that good stuff. Change her diaper put on pj's

11 go up stairs to our room and nurse her to sleep, 1130 put her in her crib, she sleeps on her boppy because she hates to be flat, and it won't fit in the Moses basket beside our bed.

I pump at 3 am

Do you swaddle? My 3 week old sleeps much longer when swaddled, she sleeps for about 2 hours at a time overnight not being swaddled and 3-4 hrs when swaddled.

I had to increase my baby feeding by 1 oz to help him sleep longer and so far it has worked

My life. He's growing. Ped told me to pump and have dad feed every feed at night for 4 hours so I can sleep uninterrupted and that in a week baby should be sleeping longer stretches

At night or during daytime naps? Daytime naps that's not the worst downtime.

Nighttime--yikes. Lived that. Could be the 3-week growth spurt (just lived through the same thing!)

Was he/she sleeping fine before?
