Wow this story is one for the books. First I want to start off in saying that I'm a lesbian...heyyy....and my wife and I are trying for our first child. We set an appointment for fertility doctor and on my first visit he gave me a prescription for Metformin and Clomid. I started the Metformin that day and was instructed to start the Clomid on my 3rd cycle day and instructed to come back on the 12th day. On my 12th day I was told that I have a small polyp on my left ovary and it may or may not be a problem but we should continue on our journey to make this baby. He said I had an egg and all we were waiting for was me to ovulate or for the egg to mature. I came back on 15tg day (today) and he said my egg has matured and gave me a HCG shot & to come in tomorrow morning to inseminate. Whew. I haven't told anyone personally yet because we don't want to get anyone worked up and it doesn't go through but I'm excited and a little scared. Anyone go through these steps? Was it a success? Send me baby dust!! I can use all I can get
