FTM membrane sweep?

Got the first membrane sweep done at 38 weeks 1 day, last week. Dilated me to 2cm but didn't work. I'm now 39 weeks 1 day and she did it again today...did it work for you on your second time being a FTM?

I had my membranes swept at 39 and again at 40... my daughter still wasn't born until 41+1 🙈 some women it puts them straight into labor though. The thing is, if you're ready, it can jump start the process. If your body isn't ready, it won't do a darn thing.

I don't have any advice. But I'm looking into getting my membranes stripped too. I heard it's just a 50% chance it'll work. some women go into labor some don't! hang in there.
