Nothing has worked for me so far - I'm 4 days overdue with an induction date for this Friday. I've been eating six dates per day since 38 weeks, taking long daily walks and prenatal yoga, sitting on an exercise ball, having lots of sex with my husband, eating pineapple, eggplant Parmesan, spicy foods since my due date... I tried one hour of nipple stimulation in the bath yesterday but it was a little much for me to fully commit to.

I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced at my last appointment on Tuesday, so she really could come any day but I think ultimately it's up to genes and hormones!

I haven't tried. I'm due November 10th. I have been trying to get my body ready though. I've been drinking red raspberry leaf tea since the 2nd trimester and eating 6 dates a day since 36 weeks. They've done studies that they can shorten labor. I'm not trying anything else until I get to 40 weeks next week. I'll start evening primrose oil vaginally, clary sage essential oil, and nipple stimulation next week. I'm trying not to get induced. My birth center lets me go to 42 weeks.

I'm gonna start walking everyday and sex every night starting today at 36.4 (i have been doing these things but not everyday) I have been drinking red raspberry leaf tea for a few weeks and I didn't start getting Braxton hicks til after I started drinking that. Idk if that actually caused my contractions but i get pretty strong regular Braxton hicks now.

I have been using EPO from 34 weeks, as well as RRLT.. but these do not induce labor only help it along. Everything else is me just going about my life as normal as possible.

I REALLY want to. I'm so tempted to try evening primrose oil, but at the same time I was eveything to start naturally but I'm nervous and going past my due date.
