Do you regret only having one child?

I had my son and then my daughter 2 1/2 year's later. After I gave birth I said no more but seeing him play by himself made me feel guilty. I have a brother and sister i didn't grow up alone my brother might have been younger but he still protected me in school, was my inside when it rain's play buddy. He is 21, I'm 25 now and we live together(well he lives with me and my bf)but we have been there for each other and it's the best feeling. I wanted that for my son, he's 3 and she's 5 month's now and watching them play, laugh, share, give hugs&kisses and just be there with eachother made me so happy we decided on another. They are best friends We want 3 but no more than 4!!!

I was extremely upset when I told I wasn't going to be able to conceive anymore after my first was born. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer when she was 8 months old and didn't get done with chemotherapy until she was 2. I was told by sooooo many fertility doctors that I wouldn't be able to conceive anymore and my heart broke intoa trillion  pieces and sunk. I always imagined giving her a sibling. Well..somehow..I ovulated one egg is April and I conceived and am giving her a little sister after all!! 
I think growing up without a sibling or siblings would be soooooo boring..she wouldn't have a built in bff like I did without one! I'm glad I was given this opportunity!

I have 2 and a 3rd on the way. The two only children that I am quite close to do regret not having siblings. There will be no aunts or uncles for their children. It's quite hard, especially if they marry only children or their spouse has only one sibling.  Makes for an extremely small extended family support system. I would never have had just one seeing how my close only-child friends suffered feeling quite alone and lonely.

Yes. Hence we are trying again now but by the time we conceive and I give birth the the gap will be over 7 years :(
