Trying to get pads and tampons made free

My petition:

Get Sanitary towels and tampons free for women of all ages.

Males can go to their gp and get bags of condoms for free so why can't women of all ages get pads and tampons for free? Men choose to have sex and use condoms but women don't choose to have periods. So the items required for health purposes should be free.
