Did the epidural hurt for you

Yes and no. My spine is weird and curved a bit. The first three tries hurt really bad. But the 4th time when they got it in didn't hurt at all.

I had no pain with mine at all it tickled I was just wearing off from the demoral they gave me about 30/45 mins before which that helped a lot too with the contractions but I'd say it didn't hurt at all

My first was mainly just uncomfortable. My second legitimately gave me PTSD! I will NEVER have another! It was horrible. He kept having to redo it and I wasn't all the way numb. I kept telling him and he did nothing but keep digging the needle in.

You just feel a electric shock like feeling going into you but other than that it's not painful at all. I was given gas and air when I had mine so it took the edge off a bit and helped me relax

I was told the most painful part is the numbing they give you so you don't feel the epidural needle go in.

Only when they were giving me the epidural...it felt like a strong pinch... but a few minutes after that, I felt like I was in heaven!! Lol. Didn't feel a darn thing. 😊

I had back labor and I swear the second they put the needle in it felt like instant relief, even before meds kicked in.

Nope. Actually,  I was in the middle of a,contraction, and since I had to focus on holding 100% still trough a very strong contraction, I was not even aware when my anesthesiologist was done. ..he was done with my epidural before I was done with my contraction. 
Compared to contractions, the epidural  (provided u have a good anesthesiologist) does not hurt..
