When did you go out for the first time

After baby was born? Who was looking after the baby? Could you enjoy yourself or were you just worried and missing your baby all night? Did you receive any judgement from people for going out as a new parent?

We went out with our first. We actually did not let anyone watch our son until he could talk very well .  My husband is very protective of his children.

We mostly went out with baby. But did go out by ourselves when she was around 6 to 8 weeks old.

My friends had twins and had a date night around 2 weeks later. I think as long as mom is recovered and comfortable, and you have someone experienced with newborns you trust that can watch the baby(ies), you should definitely take advantage of adult time with your partner!
