trying for over a year...next steps?

Ladies, looking for some advice. We have now been trying for over a year. We have had one miscarriage. We are both healthy and under 30. Last time I talked with my primary care doctor, she gave me the whole, "it will happen, you're healthy, just relax," speech. I am just curious how you guys got started with either testing or fertility treatments, etc. Did you go through your primary doctor or OBGYN? Did you have trouble getting them to take you seriously if you had to endo/pcos, etc? I feel like I am being dismissed because I don't have an obvious medical condition that's interfering with conceiving. I feel like no one understands bc no one I know has actually had to try to conceive 😞
