Hyperemesis Gravidarum - Needing encouragement!
Hi ladies. So, on Sunday while in the ER, I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. It's been a really rough time ever since I hit 6 weeks (7 weeks today). Doctors said it's just one of those things where there's not much they can do about it, and I get that, but I'm wondering if any of you had it and if there was anything at all that helped? I've read way too many awful things about Zofran/Ondansetron to want to take it, so I feel like my only option is to suffer through this. I have not been able to keep ANY kinds of foods or liquids down. Just LOOKING at water sends me straight to the toilet to vomit. I'm throwing up (bile) on an average 10 times a day. I had to switch to gummy prenatals because the Rainbow Light ones were no longer able to go down my throat without me hurling right away. It took me nearly 5 years to get pregnant and I'm so afraid of losing this baby because of this. ANY advice or words of encouragement would be great.
