increased wetness??!!!

for the past two days I've had excessive vaginal wetness so wet that when me and my husband have sex i cant really feel the friction :/ I'm not on any kind of birth control ... my period is due this friday?? I've never had this before one so I'm confused! Can anyone help answer my question thanks!
