How far along do you normally have to be to get your first ultrasound? This is my first pregnancy i am beyond excited!!

Where I live you don't get it til 19w, and that's the only one unless you are high risk or have complications

Some doctors do it at 8 weeks and some at 12 weeks. Depending on where you live some even wait until 20 weeks

I got my first ultrasound scheduled ASAP because I have PCOS and so I am very irregular.  Turns out I was 8 weeks and had no clue until a couple days before.

In the U.K. It's 12 weeks then 20 weeks and that's all you get. You sometimes get an early one if your unaware of how far on you are

I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks. But it was just for the doc to see how far along I was. My first 'official' ultrasound is going to be at 12 weeks
