bacterial vaginosis

So I went to the er last night because I was bleeding and they told me that I was 5w3d and my cervix was closed and my hcg levels matched my ultrasound. They told me I have bacterial vaginosis and I was googling about it and saw that others had bleeding along with it and so I'm hoping that's what the bleeding is from. I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and had everything be okay and not miscarry.
