Did you have an induction?

Question

Can anyone shine some light on what I should expect for induction? I will say that my doctor said if my cervix doesn't change between now and then, I will have a higher chance of having a C-Section.  I am barely 1cm and 30% effaced.

Get to walking!!!! Seriously walk as much as you can stand. Squats or getting a birthing ball will help too. Sex (sperm) can help you thin out as well.

I was induced on Halloween. It was wonderful. I was already 4 cm when I started.  I was 37 weeks. I was in labor for 4&1/2 hours.

I had an induction with my son I was a week late and he hat no intentions on coming on his own. Every induction is different I was in labor for 24 hrs my sister who was induced  two moths after me was only in labor for 6 hours. The contractions are much more intense than if you were to go into labor on your own.

I was induced with 2 out of my 3 children. With my 2nd, I was 2 cm (not sure how effaced. My doctor at the time did not tell me). Everything went fine when I was induced. They broke my water 1st and waited to see if I was progressing and then I was put on pitocen. No c section.

With my 3rd, I was only 1 cm and 70%  effacted and I when I went it they gave me the pitocin and delivered that night vaginally.

My doctor with the 3rd baby told me she thought I may have to have a c section if I didn't progess, but I was fine.

I was inducted at 2 cm. Had 2 kids- 1 naturally going into labor & being in extreme pain for 16 hrs. The other had epidural hooked up first & was at 10cm after 2 hrs. I do recommend that if u get epidural, don't have them numb u completely. I think that's what helped me push my daughter out so quickly. I've heard stories where women can't push Bc their legs r numb & end up having to have surgery.... The meds they give u will dialate u quickly
