I'm 26w6d and I just received the whooping cough vaccine at my OBGYN office. I texted me sister who has 3 children afterwards and asked if she got it when she was pregnant and she said she declined it because "it's not effective and I don't want to put anything in my body or my children's body that is not beneficial. There's so much controversy with these shots.. I just couldn't picture giving that to my baby or myself." I know it's a personal decision, I just hope I made the right one because her response scared me a bit. Did you receive or decline it, and why? What helped you come to your decision?
