Do you know if you have Medicaid gold, if you have to share a room with someone?

I wasn't sure if that's a common thing.. I'm super private.

I think it depends more on what hospital you go to offers. I have fantastic private insurance and even so if I went to a hospital with double rooms I'd have to share. Luckily I went to a hospital that only had private rooms so I got that. I've heard similar from friends - if the hospital has double rooms most (all?) insurances make you do that unless you pay to "upgrade" out of pocket. Check out the situation at your local hospital. And to be sure call your insurance and ask - it's such a funny thing you never know. Good luck!

Dont know what " med gold"is but i have Medicaid in fl and i got a room to myself and delivering at the aame hospital again so will again. They dont share rooms there. So i think it really depends on the place you go not the insurance you have

I didnt know that was still a thing. None of the hospitals in my area do room sharing to my knowledge. I know for a fact the hospital in delivering at gives everyone a private room
