Balloon induction?

Hey ladies. I'm 36+2 I'm being induced Monday at 37weeks. They are inserting a balloon into my cervix to start the process then coming in Monday for the iv. Has anyone ever done the balloon to help your cervix out? I'm a fingertip dilated which is the only reason she is giving it a go because its less stressful and less fighting with just medication. Any stories to share?
