where is your car seat?

About to install our car seat, most ppl I know have put it by a backseat door, but I've read everywhere that it's safest in the middle backseat. Where are you installing your car seat?

Your manual has the areas that are meant for the car seat, I wanted to put mine in the center but the hooks are only on the sides

Middle back seat is the safest place. My car has bucket seats in the back so I'll have my infant seat behind the drivers side and my 14 months seat on the passenger side.

Well since I have 3 kids when I put my youngest base in the car it went by the door cause it wouldn't fit in the middle but now I have a suv and I have a car seat by each door and my oldest in the very back.

It also depends on the latch in your particular car. I just took mine to the fire department they installed it for free. A certified tech comes to each fire department once a month in my county, call your local department and ask when they can do yours.

With my first I had it in the middle because that is the safest spot. When I had my 2nd it was on the side because I couldn't put two car seats that close to each other in my car.

Middle, because we have a car with a duper small back seat and that's the only place It fits. Also from personal experience it's easier to reach them if you need to for some reason
