SOS - Low heartbeat
I'm 9 weeks today. This past Sunday, I went to the ER because of very light spotting. I just had a bad feeling and this would be our rainbow baby so I figured better safe than sorry. I'm glad I did because there we had our first ultrasound and the ER Dr was concerned. He said the heartbeat was very low (I was 8 weeks 3 days then and the heartbeat was at 73).
I know that 73 is super low.. he said chances didn't look good. The next day I called and told my Dr. They looked at my progesterone and it had dropped from 22 throughout the whole pregnancy (which they were super happy with) to 14 in just 3 days. So they put me on 100mg of progesterone twice daily and want to see what that will do. My Dr and nurse, unlike the ER Dr, seem very hopeful and optimistic. They said they've seen it this low and turn around before and lead to a healthy baby. I go back for an ultrasound on Tuesday.
Does anyone have a success story similar to this to share?? Looking for hope for our baby!! & lots of prayers please!!
