induction??

Question

I go in Sunday at 5 to get it all going .. doc said will do balloon thing.. then 730
Monday morning will start induction meds... so I should be having this baby Monday then! Will they be letting me leave Tuesday ? I have a three year old so making arrangements for Sunday and all day Monday but assuming his dad can go get him Monday night if wanted and go home or Tuesday am when he wakes ?

Are you in the US? I believe insurance in the US for hospital stays has you stay 2 nights for vaginal birth and then a couple extra for csection now if your at a birthing center you go home like the same day or within 24 hrs.  Doubt you'll be discharged the next day.  You might be able to leave AMA but that has a boat load of negative consequences usually and not recommended

It really depends on your hospital. Mine allows you to leave the next day if there are no complications.
