Chemical pregnancy- what to expect?

Question

So I tested positive on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then today got a negative test. I called my OB and went for a blood test. Hcg level was 2 (under 5 is considered negative), so I'm guessing that this is likely a chemical pregnancy 😕I have no had any spotting or bleeding at this point. My period is 2 days late.

Has anyone had anything similar happen? How long did it take for bleeding to start? Any ideas on what I can expect next?

Thanks to those who have shared. My period started today - I was 3 days late. Hopefully we are lucky enough to be able to try again soon.

I've had one. It was like a very heavy, very painful period. It lasted only a day or so longer than a normal period but was heavier and more painful. Sorry you're going through this

I had two positive test and was 3 days late then started my period. It was heavier than normal and had some bad cramps and it lasted 6 days instead of my normal 3-4. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Hugs
