I'm not entirely sure on the actual procedure, but my friend said it.felt like her midwife was scratching her insides with her nail. Said it hurt but not too bad.

But you don't have to get it done if you don't want it

Not every woman can have it done, you have to dilate a few cm first. I was induced 10 days over and never dilated more than a fingertip before that, so wasn't able to have it done.
