what's better?

What is better? The stroller/car seat combo that clicks right into the stroller and car? Or use a car seat that you can keep using as the baby grows for all stages?

I have a capsule and a car seat. Mainly if I am to go out to my parents or come home in the first however months I can just take the capsule out, then once he gets older I'll pop him into the car seat that I bought which goes up to the age of 4

The only thing I don't like about the car seats that grow with your kid is that you will have to take your baby out of the car seat every single time rather than carrying them in the car seat.  So if you are ok with not having that car seat as a carrier then I personally think the other option is better since you will likely never need another car seat.

We went with an infant carrier that snaps into a base and stroller. Living in Minnesota with a baby born in late September means there's no way I'm having to take my baby outside in anything other than a carseat!

I've been having the same dilemma! I like that the convertible ones can grow with the baby and you don't need to buy a new car seat every few months. But I like the idea that with the others you can just carry the car seat. I'm not sure either which one will suit us better!

We chose the convertible carseat but that's just what will work better for us
