I hope someone can help. We have been TTC for two years with no success. This was our second round of clomid. That clomid cycle started on 9/15/16. I peaked on 10/1/16 and got a BFP (pretty instant) on 10/31/16. Problem #1 is that I had severe bleeding and cramping during the week of 10/14/16 which would have correlated with my next cycle so I didn't think anything of it. I didn't realize I was pregnant. Bleeding and cramping stopped after 5 days. So I was shocked when I got my bfp on Halloween.
My hcg was tested the day after 11/1/16 and it was 860. Everyone said that was a great number for how early I was so I felt good and told immediate family. On 11/3/6 (yesterday) I started cramping and bleeding moderately on and off. I called the doctor and they ordered another hcg. I didn't receive those results until today. It was only 950. He did a transvaginal ultrasound and was able to see the embryo. He said that since my number didn't double or more within 48 hours he doesn't think this is a viable pregnancy but we would test again Monday.
Please, someone, tell me it's possible I will not lose my first child.
