What's wrong with me?

Am I too prideful? Too egotistical? I see so many women on this app take back men who cheat, disrespect them, even abuse them! It's a legit question. I feel like maybe I can't find love or keep it because I'm so harsh and expect people to be near perfect.

I used to be one of the women you describe.  It's not intentional to end up in a relationship with a guy who cheats/abusive!  They seem like the perfect guy at the start, and somehow find ways to get you dependent on him.  My guess is because you have a good sense of what you want and deserve, you get rid of those guys before it develops anywhere.  I used to keep giving the benefit of the doubt.  Through therapy I got a clear picture of the qualities I wanted and would not accept.  I was single for a couple of years then met my now husband.  Wait Hun!  He will come along, settling just makes you miserable.

I don't think wanting a man who doesn't cheat, abuse and disrespect you is looking for perfection.

To me that's just the basis of a decent human being. It's the mimimum standard.

People accept all sorts of things on their relationships. For all sorts of reasons.

I wouldn't dwell on others. Focus on what you want in your own life.

There is no such thing as the perfect man. But when you meet the right one for you then you will overlook his flaws and see only the best in him.

It's called having standards, common sense, and a backbone. A lot of women now days lackthose traits or weren't raised to value their expectations and not compromise them for anyone. You'll find a good guy that way, may take longer but it'll be worth it in the big scheme of things.

I just know personally my 15yrs with my SO is worth the fight
If either party (me or him ) was to screw up 
I would expect him to try. Fight. And work fir me for us for our kids 
And i would do the same 
I pray it never happens but i cant stand here and say id throw 15yr away for one mistake and im sure my husband wouldnt either
