Did feeding your breastfed baby formula, help them sleep through the night?

Breastmilk is digested faster than formula which is why breastfed babies wake up more frequently. There is nothing wrong with that. I would rather wake up to feed my baby than pump artificial stuff into them just so they dont wake up. I think that's really sad. My breastfed baby started sleeping from 8-6 every night at 6 months old. I think I can handle six month of him waking up to nurse and have the satisfaction that he is getting the best food there possibly is.

My sister does this-baby doesn't sleep totally through the night but he sleeps longer intervals.
