Did you take classes for your first? If so, did you find them useful? If not, can I ask why?

We are starting to look at registering but it seems they are all over 4 weeks (all of January) or are 2 nights but are really late nights...930 end time puts me home at 10 and I'm lucky to still be awake at 9 due to early mornings...

I want to take them as I'm one of those that likes to know what's going on...but I'm not nervous about it or anything...so I just don't know what to do...
