Pain a week or so after cycle has ended?

My cycle ended last week. Right now, I'm experiencing stabbing pains in my lower abdomen. They're so bad, I end up curled up on the floor, unable to move until they stop. Tonight, I had to be carried to my bed because the pain was so bad. And I also bleed a little while this is happening. This isn't the first time it has happened, either. What could this be? Should I be worried?
