Cramps

My period isn't due for another two weeks. I've felt bloated and crampy the past 24 hours. Which normally I don't get bloated or cramps just gassy. And my period is usually right on track. But I also just got off my birth control 3? Months ago. And before my bc my period kinda just came and went as it pleased. Could I be going back to my old cycle before bc? But more symptoms or what? I was on the nuva ring if that helps
