Induction sucks

I've been dying for this baby to come early, but when she was ready. Went to my OB appointment Thursday (37+6) and Had very high blood pressure. She checked my cervix and i was only 1cm dilated and barely effaced. After having pressure checked 3 different times they are decided they were going to keep me overnight. The office is on my hospital which is a bonus. After having blood work done they discovered elevated enzymes in my liver and decided to keep me overnight. I got woken up Friday morning at 8 to be told they were starting induction as blood pressure wasn't going down.

Friday consisted of 2 doses of cytotec which did nothing. I was still at a 1 and cramping bad but no contractions. That night they decided to try the 24 hour dose of cervadil.

Was checked again Saturday night and still no change. Said I was between 1-2cm and cervix is still far back. They gave me another 24 hour dose of cervadil.

So here I am still in hospital on Sunday cramping and not able to do much unless my water breaks or contractions start. The resident wants to try some kind of cream tonight if nothing works. I spoke to the OB on the floor today and she said that she will be on tomorrow morning and if I still have no change she will break my water and put me on the drip.

Guys this actually sucks. Being away from home for so long and not sleeping with my SO has brought me to tears every night. It's not what it's all cracked up to be. Don't rush your body. I know it's tough but this is worse just sitting in hospital and waiting and nothing happening. Best of luck to all of you and hopefully contractions start soon and I dilate a little more by tonight.
