So in august my husband and I went to visit family for a week in Florida, west coast. Hernando beach, hernando county area. The couple month leading up to vaca we were ttc. A couple weeks before our trip in august I had my yearly gyno appt. at that appointment the dr said that due to Zika and the outbreak in miami he told us to stop ttc for 6 months. Since then we have stopped ttc. From my research CDC guidelines state to stop ttc for 6 months if the male is in a ZIKA ACTIVE SITE. But hernando west coast was and is not active. Only area of active transmission remains in Miami. Miami is super south of the state, we were no where near. I am starting to think I want to ttc again now instead of waiting for February. Any thoughts? Any medical ppl opinions? Any ppl from florida? Thanks❤️
