Got my BFP... Now what?

Question

So after 2 years of trying I finally got my BFP. Now I have no clue what to do. What kind of doctor do I call? I have a gyno appt. On the 9th. It was to see if I'm fertile or not. God answered that one. So do I cancel or change the appt. Reasoning. What can I expect when I see the doctor. I'm so clueless. Please help!

Call a OBGYN make your 6 week appt. you get to see how many is on there and expected due date. They can help you with next steps. Congratulations Mama and H&H 9 months!

Call the ob/gyn that you have the appointment with tomorrow morning when they open, tell them you got a positive test over the weekend and they will tell you your next step. This happened to me in August. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday at an infertility specialist and got a positive test the weekend before. They just canceled my appointment there and I called my new ob/gyn to make my first prenatal appointment. Don't be surprised if they schedule your appointment for around 8-10 weeks, that's normal for most ob/gyns.

You need a OBGYN. They will probably blood test first and at 6weeks you'll get you first ultrasound
