I'm 33 weeks. I had an ultrasound appointment Friday and that appointment lead to finding out my fluids were low and they said I had to get admitted to hospital overnight and get placed on IV. Then I found out i failed 3 hour glocuse test and I have gestational diabetes. Found out so much in a couple hours. Went to hospital and then found out I had to stay the whole weekend. Its sunday now. My fluid ultrasound this morning turned out to be worse and actually got lower. Apparently my baby is not getting any fluids because of the diabetes. So apparently I have to stay and at 34 weeks Tuesday, I may be induced. The one sucky part about all this is my baby shower is this weekend. I was so excited about my shower. I was gonna work on stuff for it after my appointment that Friday. I really wanna go to my baby shower. I'm excited to meet my little one soon but mommy wanted her baby shower lol. I spent a lot of time crying and thinking this morning. Did this happen to anyone else where they had their baby at 34 weeks? Was everything okay?
