Blood test for gender?

Has anyone done the blood test to determine early gender based on presence of Y chromosomal DNA in mom's blood? Is it accurate? I've read it's pretty accurate after 10 weeks but want to know if anyone has done it first hand?

They told me boy by ultrasound... blood test said girl.... at the next ultrasound it was confirmed girl, and has been confirmed girl 3x. It's totally more accurate then the ultrasounds especially earlier on

I've known since 12 weeks she was a girl because of the blood test then had it confirmed at 18 weeks with ultrasound .

Did NIPT@10 weeks. Test results said boy.
19w anatomy scan confirmed and even u/s tech said the blood test is far more accurate than ultrasounds.

We did a panorama and had the results at week 13, its was male and he still had boy parts at the 20 week scan. They took blood week 12 and I had the results in 5-7 business days

Is this something you ask for at the doctor? I thought most won't do the blood test and make you wait for the anatomy scan?

I've had it done at 12 weeks and it was accurate,my doctor said it's 99.9% accurate.

We did it at 9 weeks. It's dna so it's accurate.
